Tiny Text Generator
Type a line and it shrinks into small raised letters, like a footnote mark. One tiny style is at the top.
This swaps your letters for special characters. It is not a font file, and some screen readers read it badly, so keep it to decoration.

Raised letters
Superscript letters sit above the baseline, like the 2 in x squared. Unicode has a set of small raised letters, borrowed from phonetic notation, and this generator uses them.
Nearly complete
Every lowercase letter has a tiny form except q, which stays full size. Digits 0 to 9 work, and so do plus, minus, equals and brackets, which makes small sums possible.
Capitals have gaps
Some capitals have a tiny version and others do not. Where one is missing the generator uses the tiny lowercase letter, so you may see a lowercase shape in a word that began in capitals.
Decoration, not information
Tiny text is hard to read and may not display in older fonts. Never use it for anything people must be able to read, such as a price or a warning.
Questions
Why isn't the q tiny?
Unicode has no standard tiny q, so it stays normal.
Can I make a footnote number?
Yes. Type the digit and you get a raised number, which is exactly what a footnote needs.
Why do some capitals come out lowercase?
Where no tiny capital exists, the lowercase tiny letter is the closest match.
