Wide Text Generator
Type a line and every character stretches into a wide cell. This is the spaced-out look known as aesthetic or vaporwave text.
This swaps your letters for special characters. It is not a font file, and some screen readers read it badly, so keep it to decoration.

Example
The line Hello, world, in this style:
An East Asian invention
Fullwidth characters were created for Chinese, Japanese and Korean text, where every character takes a square cell. Latin letters, digits and punctuation got fullwidth versions so they would line up with the rest.
What converts
Letters, numbers and ordinary punctuation all become fullwidth, and spaces become wide spaces. That is what produces the spread-out look.
Links stop working
A fullwidth web or email address will not work, because the computer sees different characters from the ones it expects. Use wide text for decoration only.
Space
A few words read fine. A paragraph is tiring, and the text takes roughly twice the room, which matters in a short bio.
Questions
Is wide text the same as vaporwave text?
Yes. The look became popular in aesthetic music and art circles.
Why does it take up so much room?
Each character fills a square cell, about twice the width of a normal letter.
Will search find wide text?
Search engines normalise some fullwidth characters, but do not rely on it. Keep important words in plain letters.
